Default What to do??

Now that we are going to be in isolation forever and have no sports to watch, what is everyone doing?

I've already streamed most everything I'm interested in. It's nice to have a couple series like BCS and Brockmire with new episodes now and Ozarks coming up in a few weeks.

Are these streams of people playing video games really as enthralling as my kids seem to suggest? Should I give it a try? Where do you start?

Can a guy who hasn't played video games in decades get into new games these days? Where to start?

Is online poker available in the US again?

What else?

Great thread. I'm a little unsure of how to occupy myself with no sports to watch. Netflix and Crave I guess. I just watched Contagion on Netflix. 2 thumbs up. Feel good movie.

I found a lovely little British comedy on Netflix called.....####oo. (C-uckoo)

Actually really quite funny and very well written and acted.

5 seasons but only 6 episodes per.

Looks like a lot of major theater releases are getting postponed now too - A Quiet Place II, Mulan, Bond among what will probably be others. So no new movies...

If time allows, which it probably will, I'll be watching HBO's Chernobyl (fitting?) and Baskets with Zach G. Been meaning to watch both for a while now.

I have to get caught up with Picard as well.

I have a basement full of model kits, art supplies and garbage. I'll be okay.

Try renovating a house, you won't have a spare idle minute and will need to work tons of overtime to pay for materials.

Plenty of good old and new tv shows and movies out there to occupy time.

Just depends on what genre you're looking for.

Don’t care much for pro hockey. This will reach crisis proportions if the CFL season is affected.

None of this is bothersome, but the CFL is what would set you off? Oh dear.

I still have like 8 Lego sets to build. That should keep me at least a week. 8 unopened video games, a basement to sort out.

I might self-quarantine 4 weeks.

As a big video game fan, I will have no problems finding things to keep me entertained. I’m only halfway through Persona 5 (an 80+ hour game) and have another 80 hour RPG I haven’t even started. Good for a while.

I still own a massive bluray/DVD collection. I'm probably gonna dust a few of those off and rewatch a bunch of stuff that I haven't seen in years. Not to mention all the crap that's available for streaming.

I also have several new books that I haven't started yet. I'm sure I'll be able to keep myself occupied.

I plan on going insane trying to keep my kids entertained. I do have some ideas actually that may interest the kids and perhaps parents as well. Still working on it so I’ll keep you updated

We were thinking the movie theatres would be a good place to escape to for an afternoon before studios started to get postpone their shows.

I mean I could handle a 1/4 full cinema more than I could Costco or Superstore or a jaunt around Chinook Mall right now - at least until its green (or less white) outside.
