How typical. Canucks are getting their heads caved in, Markstrom standing on his head to keep the game close, and Vancouver opens the scoring on a turnover.

1-0.

"heads caved in"

what game are you watching?

there hasn't been a lot of 5 on 5 play in the period and 2 PPs to 1 for TB.

the shots are 6-8 (actually 7 for the Canucks but it didn't count the crossbar hit)

I don't have the stats with me but the Canucks have had the more dangerous chances imo, especially at the end of the period...

Lindgren just demolished Donskoi with a bit of a questionable hit....Kadri jumped in and thumped Lindgren and got ejected for his efforts.

God i despise the instigator rule.

The one in which the shots were 8-2 past the mid-point of the first, and in which Vancouver scored on their fourth shot ongoal.

Not that it matters. I am happy to see TBL take the lead, no doubt to your everlasting chagrin.

2-1. It’s delicious listening to John Garrett whine about face off interference on that goal.

Goalposts and crossbars don't count as shots on goal.

Hey, oh. Suddenly the Canucks are down by four.

6-2 at the end of the second.

It definitely doesn't matter, as Tampa has now scored 6 goals in the period to lead 6-2. The Lightning are looking pretty scary again.

Just a solid, solid showing from the Canucks. 9-2 is the final.

Vancouver is no good.

Oof, losing is one thing but getting your heads caved in 9-2 is a whole other thing...

Kovalchuk with 2 points tonight now has 3 points in his first two games for the Habs. 2GP, 0G, 3A, +1, 5 SOG, 8 Hits, 2 Blocks

What’s considered not even close? I’ll think they’ll be close. In or out though? Who knows
