Flames Best place to buy a Flames jersey today?

Has anyone seen any clearance deals or sales on Flames jerseys? Mine is needing to be replaced, and I'd like to get a new one for the game tonight.

Thanks!

Happy Hour at the dome. I think from 5:30-6:30 tonight.

10% off at the fanattic.

Adidas is worth the extra money IMO. Better build quality and the numbers are stitched vs heat pressed.

I didn't realize the Fanattic ones were pressed numbers. I won't be going that route. I'll wear my old Kipper one I suppose, and stop by the store when I get there to see what they have. Was hoping to get a good deal on a clearance jersey, but that's unlikely.

Thanks

Fanatics jerseys are substantially worse quality. Adidas all the way.

Fanattic Jerseys are very cheap material all around. The adidas jerseys feature a fight strap and realistic logo/shoulder patch cresting. Far superior quality.

I'm sure you could pick up some gently used ones from some fans on this board, as long as you don't mind the name "Neal" on the back.

Fanatics jerseys get a bad rap on a hockey crazed board like this ... but i think the jersey is just fine. The fanatics material is more comfortable than the addidas if you just like wearing a jersey with your street clothes - the crest is softer and thus doesn't feel like you have a dinner plate attached to the front of your shirt when sitting down. Plus if you buy a fanatics jersey without lettering or numbers, you can have name and numbers stitched on just as you would on an Adidas.

The fight strap on the Adidas is, frankly, pretty lame for something that is not truly an authentic jersey anyways - and i find the material is designed more for if you are wearing it on the ice with equipment than if you are wearing it while sitting in your seat drinking beer.

It seems to me the fanatics sell pretty well south of the border where fans care a lot less about what other fans will think about the jersey on their back.

Just to clarify, "Fanatics" jerseys do not necessarily mean jerseys from the "Fan Attic" (aka the Flames team store at the Dome, or the CGY Team store in Southcentre).

Fanatics is an American brand that produces cheaper fan jerseys. You can buy both Fanatics (cheaper) and Adidas (more expensive) jerseys at the Fan Attic.

If you are a season ticket holder or even a game pack holder you get a pretty good deal at the Fan Attic by showing your ticket card (I think 25% off)

If you aren't a ticket holder, surely you have a pal that is.

Was just about to ask if the store at the Dome had both, thanks for clarifying!

The one I have now is an authentic RBK one, and I don find how stiff the crest is annoying at times.

I think it'll come down to checking out what they have in store. I love the Heritage Classic jersey, but I think getting a light coloured jersey could end up being a bad idea lol.

I don't believe anyone has posted about this on CP. For the sake of identifying differences, I have some photos below of an adidas Made in Canada (MiC) gameworn and and retail adidas Indozero.

The most obvious difference is the shoulder dimples - there are alot more and they are very defined. The spacing between the flags is also much large to account for equipment.

Above: the indozero, below the MiC

The fight strap on the MiC is double reinforced, whereas the indozero is attached with a single layer of twill. The quality of the indozero fightstrap stitching is also very spotty.

Above: MiC. Below: Indozero

Finally, below there is a side by side comparison. The MiC feels alot more like a traditional hockey jersey, while the indozero is a lesser quality made fan replica. The difference is night and day, but they market these jerseys in such a fashion that the casual fan won't know the difference. Indozero jerseys are nice, but they ARE NOT on ice authentics.

Depends on the team, but for the flames, it's gameworn only.

Would offer one of my extras on the cheap but thinking there may be a chance I convert it to a 68 Hoffman.

About 3 years ago I was looking for a customized Bruins Jersey for a (soon to be ex) brother in law as a groomsman gift. I wanted to put the names of his 2 kids on the back. Stumbled across this site:

https://www.sportsjerseyscanada.ca/en/

Was quite impressed with the quality and they even had access to an ampersand for in between the names (maybe not so rare but I was surprised). Can't remember if the logo was stitched but the name plaque, individual letters and number were all stitched.

Maybe someone else has mentioned already or maybe even had a bad experience with them but I would recommend highly.

All told, 13 characters (including the &), single digit numbers and a captain's C came out to just under 200 bones.

Cheers and good luck on your quest!

Edit: apologies if the numerical amount is not quite what you were thinking
