Jankowski is sick, which is why he's not skating.
Have to imagine that he and Frolik are sitting on some hotter seats than most.

Tru but last night was maybe Jankowski's best of the season.

I like the way these lines get guys like Dube and Mangiapane playing with established top 6 NHL talent. Those guys have offensive abilities and need to play with offensively capable NHL forwards to develop those abilities if they are going to become top 6 forwards in their own right.
Then you have Gaudreau with two defensively strong forwards, one who brings a protection type element and the other who is pretty underrated.
I first saw those lines and thought WTF? But they have grown on me.

Our depth down the middle sure looks a lot better when you play Lindholm at C.
I kind of like spreading out the scoring as opposing teams were always keying in on Gaudreau. Now they need to make a choice. It might not last forever but I like that Ward was willing to try something different when the Gaudreau/Monahan/Lindholm line wasn't firing on all cylinders.

Yeah I love the new lines especially with double shifting Johnny on the other two lines, looking forward to seeing how they work again vs LA tomorrow.

LA will be exhausted and feeling really good about themselves on the heels of their big win in Edmonton tonight.

Would love to see Lucic make it two games in a row and score against his old team.
Also my guess is that was Backlunds DJ list of songs

Jankowski isn't scoring, but his play isn't noticeably bad.
Frolik on the other hand... I really don't see how he gets another NHL contract. He looks done.

If Troy Brouwer can get another league minimum deal so can frolik. I would love him at $1m...just not $4.3m.
Janko has played his best hockey this season under Ward. Hopefully he canturn that into another contract. Thanks Jay!!

I like "Levels" because it's often the last song that gets played as the players and officials are lining up for the opening faceoff, after the anthems are over and Beasley's welcomed the fans back to the C of Red.

Still can't believe we've pissed away 4 points against that garbage team. Here's hoping the Flames absolutely destroy them on Saturday. I want to see Doughty cry.

I don't care how good ABBA and Avicii are. Any playlist that includes Nickelback is NOT great.
My whole day has been shattered by this revelation.

The problem with the Doughty feud is that it now gives a basement team something to play for. Every Flames/Kings game is now a meaningful game for the Kings.

He was at the Children's Hospital the other day with the rest of the team. Hoping he didn't pick up something contagious.

The anti-Nickelback circle jerk is pretty played out at this point. They have some great songs, Burn it to the Ground being one of them
