Default November 5 with ten games!

It is a busy Tuesday OOT with seven games involving western conference teams. No national games in Canada, just Centre Ice.

Man, that team sure gets a lot of breaks. The league is obviously pulling out all the stops this year to get McDingus into the post season.

Classy gesture by habs fans. I remember watching a couple games with Chara with the Isles in their aquafresh jerseys when I was a kid. He looked like a giant pylon, never thought he'd have a hall of fame career.

Two Nucks players basically collided at the Blues goal, so two lying on the ice, the third player was forward of them up on the glass behind the net.

Nice to see the Ducks and Canucks both lose.

Also, the Avs have certainly come back down to earth lately, which makes me happy. F*** that team.

Not bad. The bummer is that the Devils and Blues games went into OT or the SO and the losing get a point. When it comes to inter/intra division games in the western conf. at this time of the season, it doesn't matter who wins as long as it's in reg time.

The Islanders are the hottest team in the NHL. They won their 10th game in a row beating the Senators 4-1.

Good goaltenders' dual between Hellebucyk and Blackwood. Devils win 3-2 in the SO.

The Avs-Stars game had lots of shots 38-37 in favour of Dallas. Bishop was great in net. Both teams had great PK. The Stars were perfect at 8 for 8 and the Avs were 6 for 7.
