Interesting to read but not sure how much i would pass this around. Calgary also made the shortlist of cities that are disliked, and that is not a very long list. Lumped together with Winnipeg, Edmonton, Ottawa and Buffalo. Bad news.

Yea but Calgary was only at 4%, that's only like 20 players:

It’s not surprising at all. For a player who has a 5 team no trade list, there is a high probability Calgary is on there. Along with Wpg, Edm, Ott and Buffalo. It’s a guarantee that anyone who has a ten team NTC, the Flames will be on it. Regardless of whether the other cities listed are deemed to be worse than YYC, the fact remains the the flames are on the bottom tier.

This is why It’s imperative to ensure we keep a lot of our draft picks and develop well.

Climate plays a pretty big part and there is nothing anyone can do about that. Arena’s play a role too so hopefully Calgary does it right. Being downtown helps.
