Bad Neutral zone turnover by Flyers, Nylander pounces, and scores on his 'Hawk debut. No assists in the 1-1 game, so far.

How has Nylander looked in pre-season and now this game? I've been thinking about scooping him up in fantasy given his deployment.

Bax...living in Utah, I was unable to see much pre-season, except, when the Icehogs played the Bruins on NHL network for that last pre-season. Looking at box scores, there were a LOT of guys that got a look, with very little of the "core" being dressed.

As far as fantasy...he is getting first crack at playing on line #1 with Toews/Kane, an amazing opportunity that is his to screw up, as, he WILL get his chances.

The 'Hawks start off their defense of being the "worst PK in the NHL" with an own goal. 2-1 Flyers...still no assists on any of the goals.

To explain this post, if you weren't aware, the Blackhawks had already traveled to Europe, having a final preseason game, which was in Berlin, against Eisbaren Berlin, on Sunday 9/29. The 9/28 game with the B's was filled with Chris Versteeg plus all the guys that had been returned to Rockford.

I thought that Nylander jumped the cross ice pass...I didn't think that Kane was involved.

The Czech fans are very vocal, whenever Voracek handles the puck...The 'Hawks have 2 Czechs playing, Kampf, and making an NHL Debut, Kubalik.
I do see that they have posted an assist for Kane, I can't believe that that will stand.

This is my first look at my guys, this season, and my first impression is that SIX FRIGGING PYLONS WOULD BE BETTER THAN ANY OF THE DEFENDERS WE HAVE.
And, as I was bitching about the horrid 'Hawk D-men, Kane and Debrincat work some PP magic on the abbreviated PP, to make it 3-2 Philly, with 12 seconds left in the 2nd.
