With Matt Lombardi set to go on the IR list Jets GM Walsh sent Lombo packing to sunny Florida along with a handful of cash in exchange from Nick Dimitrakos and a late round pick next year.
We needed to make a move because we don't have the depth to lose players to long term injuries. Nick is a solid young player and we are hoping he will fit in nicely with Yzerman and Recchi.
