Only the 1 pre-season game seems weird, no?

Also, I see no mention of Francis. Cautiously optimistic.

I think that's the norm isn't it? Most are usually just streamed

I suppose. Jets games will likely be on TSN3, Oilers game will be their broadcast on SN I'd imagine. Yeah, you might be right. I just thought the Flames maybe had 1 or 2 more of their own productions.

Edit - Also weird that the pre-season game they are broadcasting is the away game of the split squads. More "starters" at home isn't there?

Back in my day we had to buy some of the games that weren't on TV through PPV

Rewind a couple years

Back in my day we only had half of the regular season games (if we were lucky) on channel 2&7

Rewind a couple of years

Back in my day we had to listen to Peter Mahr on 66CFR

I feel like they lost every PPV game.

And Rob Kerr called so many, I feel like I lost too.

I don't think they've ever done any preseason games with the Flames' tv crew (except for the China games last year). It's usually only the Canucks game(s) with the Canucks production and the Jets games on TSN if they're not blacked out in Calgary.

Last year, I think they finally did a live stream of every preseason game (at least the home games) with the radio crew for the PBP.

Actually, come to think of it, they may have also used Ball and Hrudey for the Flames game against the Canucks B squad when the Canucks were in China two years ago too.

LOL 4K, I'd be happy with decent lighting and sound. Maybe your grandkids will watch a passable 4K sportsnet broadcast, it won't be in our lifetimes.

Is there a direct correlation between Cassie Campbell being married to Brad Pascall and her covering flames games? She is god awful. Can we just lump her, Francis, and Glencross all in one broadcast 3 hours north?
