Default Streaming Options

Hey guys, playoffs!!!

I've been in South America since December so I am very disconnected on what has been going on back home. That being said, I'd like to try to catch some of the playoff games if I can. I don't have a TV subscription and I don't mind paying for something for a couple months, but I am not sure if I should be subscribing to SportsNet, CBC, or something else or even if you can stream playoff games? There is no ability for me to go to a bar down here to catch the games and I only have my phone with me, no laptop, so it makes it a bit difficult to research this. Any adviceel would be greatly appreciated. I do have a VPN on my phone if that is required. I'll (hopefully) be cheering the guys on from Ecuador! Thanks!

NHL Gamecentre is a great option which will get you all the games in high def. There are also many other options easily searchable if you’re looking for some less expensive alternatives.

Reddit's "NHLstreams" page is usually pretty good for having a few options per game when I'm in a pinch and need to stream. I would imagine there'll be plenty of options come playoff time. But honestly, if you have Shaw or Telus, you'll generally get online streaming of CBC, Sportsnet, and TSN included for free (might need a VPN so it thinks youre in Canada).

Obviously the reddit options are usually re-streams of other broadcasts, but given I pay for every Sports channel at home and still have to sit through ads, I don't feel like I'm ripping anyone off when I need to steam 1 game a year from the States.

If you're in Alberta - Sportsnet Now
Out of Alberta - Game centre Live
