Default April 3, just two games.

The final Wednesday Night Hockey is anti-climactic. There is only one team that has something to play for.

It is a big game for the Blues because they are in a 3 way race for first place in the Central Division. The Blues can finish anyhwere from first to fourth place in their division which could also mean second place in the western conference or seventh place. The two teams played each other four times in the first month of the season and the Blackhawks lead the season series 6-4 in points.

Would like to see the Blues win to get tied for 1st in central. Still crazy to think the season they have had.

I'd love to see Winnipeg Plummet just because of all the boasting at the start of the season.

And also because Winnipeg sucks.

Pretty goal, Kane to Toews.

1-0 Hawks over Blues.

A lot of 'Hawks fans are thrilled with Gustafsson, but, I have a hard time with Defense men that are defensive liabilities. 1-1 at the UC.

Kane walks in and roofs a backhander that clearly goes in, the Chicago players are all celebrating, and Doc Emrick sounds as lost and clueless as always.

Nails on a chalkboard voice and never seems to know what's happening on the ice.

Better to hear Emrick's voice than McGuire's

IMO, Doc is the best in the game.

I know he's well liked, I just don't get why.

His voice is actually painful to listen to, which is the most fundamental feature about a broadcaster, their actual voice. When he gets overwhelmed and excited he just makes a horrible scream that like I said, is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

He also often has no idea what's happening on the ice. Hearing the guy in charge of calling the play by play obviously confused about what just happened is also a terrible quality in a broadcaster.

For my videos, I pull clips from every team's regional broadcast and all the national crews and Emrick is one of my least favourite.

3 at 4 in the shootout

The pregame had the Esposito brothers do a pregame skate in uniform. Good stuff to see. You knew the Bhawks were not going to make it easy against one of their arch rivals. What is it with Kane scoring goals that have to be double checked to see if it went in? His backhand shot had the puck hit the back bar in the net so fast it came back out like it hit the cross bar. The Blues tied it up in the last minute of reg time and get the valuable point and still have a chance at winning the division and are 7-1-2 in their past 10 games. Both goalies played well, the shots were 40-38 in favour of the Blues.
