Exclamation [Videos] 2004 Round 1 and 2 Videos Reupload

Flash Walken pointed out to me that I didn't have these uploaded to stream anywhere other than my site.

The last time I tried putting them on YouTube they got muted, but it seems like times have changed. Most music companies have figured out how to allow their music to be used and claim any ad revenue for themselves.

Obviously these are 15 years old... so welcome back to 480P!

Watching these clips, re-living that experience is one thing. But to see, in retrospective, how much more fierce the game was only 15 years ago than it is today, is truly unbelievable. The hits, the crosschecks, the faces... I don't think we will see such a level of intensity and body sacrifice ever again in any pro-sport.

Ya no kidding. Game sure has changed in 15 years. So much more physical back then, although in fairness I'm used to watching regular season hockey.

Also watching all those goals, it seems like today half of them would have been called back or at least reviewed for goalie interference. Makes me miss those days when you didn't have to hold your breath after each goal wondering if it was going to be challenged or not.

Great seeing these as they bring back a lot of memories (I was 16 during that run!) Agree 100% on how physical the game was back then. What's funny to me is that I remember in 2004 how people were saying how soft the game had gotten compared to the days of the late 80s and early to mid 90s. Kind of puts everything into perspective.

I think it might be time to do a shot-for-shot re-edit from HD footage.

What kills me most from pre-lockout years is having a faceoff in open ice haha. So silly.

The Detroit video actually is a shot for shot upgrade I made a few years later. I'd kill for HD footage from Rounds 1-3.
