Icon41 Calgary (48-23-7-103) @ San Jose (44-25-9-97) 6:00pm (SNW, SNE, SNO, SNP, SN360)

The Flames are in sunny San Jose to take on the Sharks in the SAP Center.

Projected starters, not confirmed at the time of posting https://leftwinglock.com/starting-goalies:
Calgary Flames - David Rittich Mike Smith (confirmed)
San Jose Sharks – Aaron Dell

The Flames are taking on the second place team in the West, and look clinch the conference title.

The Sharks are limping into the last week of the season, having lost 7 of their last 8? It seems like yesterday they were fighting the Flames for first, and now they look to hold onto home ice for the first round and keep Las Vegas at bay.

Overall records:
Calgary Flames 48-23-7-103
San Jose Sharks 44-25-9-97

The game will be broadcast on SportsNet East, Ontario, West, Pacific, and 360. Basically, the game is on any SportsNet channel but 1 and World.

Go Flames Go

I expect they will, but one has to wonder how much they are still feeling yesterday.

Good playoff test for the Flames... time to put teams away.

This is like a 3-1 series lead for the good guys.. gotta bury them.

That said, 13-2 Sharks

Hope game goes into a shootout as looking at both teams less than stellar records ( 0-7) combined , game might be ended in the 20th round by M. Smith scoring!

Ok then I woke up from my dream and I'll go with a 5-2 Flames win with 3 third period goals just cause they are awesome in the 3rd.

And for those of you who were wondering, yes Bennett gets a goal called back and Kane gets both goals for the bad guys as some things never change.

No suspension for Old Man Thornton for trying to spear Reaves in the neck with his stick? I haven’t really historically had a lot of hate for the Sharks, they’ve got a cool name, cool jerseys and lots of character players. But it’s building! Kane is at the centre of it of course, what a ######.

3-0 good guys. One in each period. I just hope it doesn’t get too nasty and no one gets hurt.

Regulation win or would OT do as well?

OT or shootout win would do.

Take it to these guys tonight. They had a tough game last night but don't get sucked into playing a thug game. Play with speed and move the puck effectively and be on them all night.
