As a sidebar, I'd have to say that if you get a chance to look at a certain LIFE Magazine edition where they reprint covers from 1930 to, I think, 1986 or so, you should do it. A wonderful trip. Fifty Years Of Life I think its called. An example:

Man that National Lampoon cover made my day. You can't see it too well but the Economist one on the last page is also pretty funny.
