@ NYI - W (lead 2-0)
@ NJ - W (lead 3-0)
Vs Min - L (lead 3-1)
Vs Tor - L (lead 3-2)
@VGK - L (tied 3-3)

My initial reaction as well, but I looked at it a few seconds more and figured it out.

I think it was Bob Hartley that would break the season into 7 game playoff series in order to motivate the guys to win each series and get them mentally prepped for playoffs.

In this case, OP is just breaking down the last 28 in to 7 game chunks and showing whether we win the series or not. First 7 game chunk we squeaked out a win 4-3. Second game series we're now up 3-0.

It was Sutter first for sure. This is destiny though. Just follow the 15 year win lose cycle.

You could also follow the alternate win loss cycle when you include 1986.
