Deserves 2-3 games as a first time offender IMO.

It will be funny listening to Oiler fans try and defend this one, pretty obvious target to the head.

Targetted the head, should be at least two games. We shall see how serious the NHL is about trying to get rid of this sort of thing, when it's McJesus in the dock.

He is an amazing talent it doesn’t matter what team he plays for. A spade is a spade. But so is that hit. Needs to be painted with the same brush anyone else would be. That was obvious and that was bad

He should get at least a game as a 1st offender. Not the dirtiest hit by any means but it's a head shot on a defenseless player.

He didn't go Matt Cooke and try to take his head off but there's no such thing as a tame hit to the head. Would you like to exchange your head with Leddy on that play and then tell us how tame it was? These players are just like us after all and have a life to live outside of hockey. Head shot is a head shot and it's something all contact sports leagues are getting rid of.

I think it deserves a small suspension as a first time offender. However it is McDavid and I fully expect them to only fine him.

If he gets suspended I can not wait for the public outcry from Oiler fans about how this wouldn’t happen if the refs called more penalties against other teams, also just another excuse to why they are so bad...
