Nyquist (30% retained) to Sharks for a 2nd and conditional 3rd

DET has asked Gustav Nyquist to waive his NTC to facilitate a trade to SJ. Nyquist is apparently willing to do so, which would pave the way for DET and SJ to finalize/formalize this transaction.

Trade call hasn’t happened yet but I’m told two draft picks going from San Jose to Detroit if the deal is approved.

3rd in 20 is a conditional
conditions:
Detroit will receive the lower of San Jose or Florida's 2019 second round selections, along with San Jose's third round selection in 2020. Should San Jose reach the 2019 Stanley Cup Final OR re-sign Nyquist, the third round selection in 2020 becomes San Jose's second round selection.

Nyquist has waived NTC for trade to SJ
The Sharks are crappy.
With this acquisition the Sharks are microscopically less crappy.

ugh... would have liked Nyquist in our lineup as well
Edit: wtf with the price too? Gotta think Calgary is trying to do something bigger... as Holland would have shopped GN to all the contenders
