Well, except for the part where it might be a global issue.

it is a really sad story. I lived in South America when I was a kid and the rivers they have there are absolutely amazing. We were on the Orinoco, which was about 5 miles across where we were. The Bow wouldn't even be on the map there, it'd be a stream.
