Damn. I am very concerned about what is going on with the Hamonics.

Lou mentioned on the radio Tuesday that he had heard the situation was "improving" but didn't (couldn't?) elaborate more on it.
Hoping for the best for his family, and selfishly hoping to see Hamonic back sooner rather than later.

Don't even like to think about speculating on hamonics absence.
He'll be back when he is ready.

IIRC wasn't the reason for Hamonic's initial trade request from New York for a personal family matter that was speculated to be an ill family member.
Hopefully the two are not connected and it's nothing that is too serious.
Either way best wishes to Hamonic and his family.

Im kinda surprised we're still collecting points with that bottom D pairing. I don't think they've done much positive at all. Have no stats or data to support this, but it seems they give the puck away a lot and do very little to sustain any pressure.
Having said that, its good to test our D depth, and gaining experience should only help them.

Prout has been (almost shockingly) fine in the role he's been given. Also lucky its been lesser opponents to an extent but its a good balance between he and Kylington.

As a pair they've actually been pretty good in a small sample size. 57% corsi, 66% high danger scoring chances, 2 goals for, 0 against. 76% o-zone starts, so pretty heavily sheltered, but if that's your #8 and #9D that's a pretty big win.

They've been given easy minutes (71% offensive zone faceoffs) but in limited time together they've been okay.
Minutes: 55:01
GF: 2
GA: 0
CF%: 57.7%
HDCF%: 66.7%
Not something you'd want to count on long term but over the couple of games they've played together so far they've been okay.

Hamonic sure seems like a solid citizen and family man. Hoping for the very best.

I wouldn’t be disappointed if he took time off until after the bye week. It’s 2 weeks but only 3 more games.
