Mid point season projected stats and player grades
There are some unbelievable projections in here:
I'll get all the numbers exactly right tomorrow if I got a few wrong.
Johnny Gaudreau
GP: 41, Goals: 22, Assists: 37, Points: 59, +/- = 17

What more can be said here!

Projected:
GP: 82, Goals: 44, Assists: 56, Points: 100, +/- = 22
Grade: A
Slow and steadily consistently dominating, magical fit with Johnny.
Matthew Tkachuk
GP: 41, Goals: 18, Assists: 29, Points: 46, +/- = 9
Projected:
GP: 82, Goals: 36, Assists: 58, Points: 94, +/- = 18
Grade: A
Please don't make too much more than 6.75! Pretty please?
Elias Lindholm
GP: 41, Goals: 19, Assists: 28, Points: 47, +/- = 25
Projected:
GP: 82, Goals: 38, Assists: 56, Points: 94, +/- = 50
Grade: A
What an amazing deal we got with this guy, Treliving wizard magic.
Perfect fit with Johnny and Mony.
Mark Giordano
GP: 39, Goals: 6, Assists: 32, Points: 38, +/- = 27
Projected:
GP: 80, Goals: 12, Assists: 66, Points: 78, +/- = 54
Grade: A
Come onnnnnn Norris!
Mikael Backlund
GP: 37, Goals: 8, Assists: 12, Points: 20, +/- = 14
Projected:
GP: 78, Goals: 17, Assists: 25, Points: 42, +/- = 28
Grade: B
Pretty much spot on what we were expecting/hoping for him.
Noah Hanifin
GP: 41, Goals: 3, Assists: 16, Points: 19, +/- = 5
Projected:
GP: 82, Goals: 6, Assists: 32, Points: 38, +/- = 10
Grade: B
Good start for him in our system! I think he will continue to improve.
Mark Jankowski
GP: 38, Goals: 6, Assists: 10, Points: 16, +/- = 5
Projected:
GP: 79, Goals: 12, Assists: 21, Points: 33, +/- = 10
Grade: B-
Not too much of a sophomore slump for him so far, especially with increased ice time.
Dominating on the penalty kill and shorthanded goals.
T.J. Brodie
GP: 41, Goals: 4, Assists: 11, Points: 15, +/- = 19
Projected:
GP: 82, Goals: 8, Assists: 22, Points: 30, +/- = 38
Grade: B
A little light on the offensive stats, but showing flashes of himself, and definitely
has not been a liability.
Sam Bennett
GP: 39, Goals: 6, Assists: 7, Points: 13, +/- = 1
Projected:
GP: 80, Goals: 12, Assists: 15, Points: 27, +/- = 2
Grade: B-
Carving out the Ferland role for himself, offense still not coming yet, and he is still
extremely unlikely. I still like this player though, he is very important!
Travis Hamonic
GP: 33, Goals: 3, Assists: 8, Points: 11, +/- = 11
Projected:
GP: 74, Goals: 7, Assists: 18, Points: 25, +/- = 22
Grade: A
Big bounce back year for this guy. Absolute warrior, stabilizing our defense core,
and actually chipping in a few goals as well!
Derek Ryan
GP: 40, Goals: 4, Assists: 8, Points: 12, +/- = -3
Projected:
GP: 81, Goals: 8, Assists: 16, Points: 24, +/- = -6
Grade: C+
I'm not the biggest fan, but I guess he's doing what he signed to do. I just would
way prefer somebody else on PP2 (Jankowski), I think his icetime usage has been
better lately, (except for pp2), I think 4th line C is perfect for him.
Michael Frolik
GP: 24, Goals: 8, Assists: 2, Points: 10, +/- = 6
Projected:
GP: 65, Goals: 22, Assists: 5, Points: 27, +/- = 12
Grade: C+
Was not a fan of the agent whining thing, and he looks like he's lost a step.
But still good stabilizing force on 3M when used there.
James Neal
GP: 40, Goals: 4, Assists: 4, Points: 8, +/- = -11
Projected:
GP: 81, Goals: 8, Assists: 8, Points: 16, +/- = -22
Grade: F-
Epic Fail so far, this guy was brought in to score and simply hasn't even come
close to delivering. I'm still holding out hope, but that first half of the season
is probably the worst possible intro he could have had.
Austin Czarnik
GP: 23, Goals: 2, Assists: 4, Points: 6, +/- = -6
Projected:
GP: 65, Goals: 6, Assists: 11, Points: 17, +/- = -17
Grade: C-
Failed to live up to the billing so far and doesn't seem to do much when he's
out on the ice. I'm not a huge fan so far.
Dillon Dube
GP: 23, Goals: 1, Assists: 4, Points: 5, +/- = 4
Projected:
GP: 65, Goals: 3, Assists: 11, Points: 14, +/- = 11
Grade: C+
Hasn't produced much offensively but shows a pretty good spark every time he is out there.
Garnet Hathaway
GP: 36, Goals: 4, Assists: 1, Points: 5, +/- = 1
Projected:
GP: 77, Goals: 9, Assists: 2, Points: 11, +/- = 2
Grade: B
Has been a bit better than I was expecting, especially the 4 goals. If he could chip in
10 goals this season, and be a big agitator, that would be a huge win.
Michael Stone
GP: 11, Goals: 0, Assists: 4, Points: 4, +/- = -1
Projected: Who knows
Grade: N/A, hasn't had much of a chance, but I still think we should hold on to him for playoffs.
Rasmus Andersson
GP: 38, Goals: 1, Assists: 2, Points: 3, +/- = 2
Projected:
GP: 77, Goals: 2, Assists: 4, Points: 6, +/- = 4
Grade: A-
Been pretty much everything we could have hoped/expected, but I'm hoping for a touch more offense.
Juuso Valimaki
GP: 22, Goals: 1, Assists: 1, Points: 2, +/- = -3
Grade: A
I didn't expect this guy to make the team and he was pretty frickin awesome until injured.
Oliver Kylington
GP: 17, Goals: 1, Assists: 1, Points: 2, +/- = 1
Projected:
GP: 58, Goals: 3, Assists: 3, Points: 6, +/- = 2
Grade: A
None of our young D have disappointed at all, they've performed admirably in 5/6 roles.
David Rittich
GP: 23, Wins: 13, losses: 4, OTL: 3, GAA: 2.39, Sv%: .920
Grade: A
Thank God for Rittich when Smith has been a catastrophe, please be Kipper, please be Kipper.
Mike Smith
GP: 22, Wins: 12, Losses: 8, OTL: 1, GAA: 3.00, Sv%: .889
Grade: D---
Didn't give him the F because he still sometimes gets wins when he sucks.
Just for fun:
Peters: A, Huska: A, Treliving: B
