Default Dube in concussion protocol

Kristen Anderson @KdotAnderson
Bill Peters said today that there is no update on Dillon Dube other than he's in concussion protocol. Still too early to tell if he will be ready for Wednesday's game.

I’d rather he sit out a game or two to make sure and let Czarnik play. Dube is a nice piece of the future and has been rocked a few times already, give the kid and his head some extra rest.

He's a rookie. Even if he's been playing alright, there's no harm in letting him sit a game or two. Gets other bodies in the line-up too.

I think they should send him down to the AHL to get more ice time. He's been a little snake bit and maybe physically isn't quite ready as he's taking quite a beating this season.

First hit of the season - Dirty blindside - Could have been anyone not sure what you expect him to do differently

Got rocked a few games ago, took it in stride nothing to worry about was just a good hockey hit.

Last night got elbowed in the head against the boards, not a clean hockey play perhaps argued he turned into the hit.

In any of the cases above, I don't think the physicality is what harmed him. I think he's fine, I think he's been snake bitten and he'll turn that around he just needs 1 to go in. I'd argue he was one of our best forwards the first 3-4 games and continues to be around the puck and in the play night in and out.

I dont think sending him down fixes anything myself, but that's just me.
