The Red Wings and Hurricanes tie it up in their respective games at 1-1.
Cam Ward is in net for the Blackhawks.

Seabrook scores on his team's first shot, 1-0 Chicago, two man advantage power play goal.
The Kings win 4-3 in regulation time.

That was an unnecessary hook by Caggiula, on a nothing zone entry, to give the terrible 'Hawk PP a 5 on 3.

Well, Caligula was never known for his restraint.

Seabrook should get an assist on Kassians goal for laying on his goaltender after he’s made 2 saves in a scramble.

The 'Hawks show their continuing struggles on D-zone coverage, giving up multiple whacks at Ward, while still leaving the weak side F, Kassian, completely unchecked. Also, you guys might be getting a look at some of the frustrations of many 'Hawk fans, in that, the 'Hawks pass up shooting lanes to try to work "cute" plays. They often dominate possession, then, fumble the puck by overpassing, rather than just throwing the puck at the goal and crashing.

Dammit Hawks, you let Kassian score? That's just shameful.

Heh, just saw a somewhat portly kid in the stands wave away some popcorn being offered to him.
That was cute (Oilers game)

Way to go Detroit! Beat Dallas, well, about to. Now just Edmonton to win and it's a good day the central to lose.

No.
Not even the insane ramblings of an irrationally over-invested Winnipeg Jets fan can save the Edmonton Oilers.
No one can.
No one.

This stupid game has OT written all over it. Remember when the Hawks used to be able to score at will. We could sure use some of that right about now. C'mon Hawks, get it done fer f*** sakes.

Thanks for ruining my Sunday, Chicago. As per usual, Talbot and McLotteryball are the sole reasons Edmonton won this game. Shocking!
And the Oilers are now ahead of the Flames in the standings. The hockey gods clearly hate us.

McDavid actually made a nice play in his own zone there. That’s what I get for tuning into an Oilers game.
