Almost nothing.
Think about how many people who win the lottery, get a huge sports paycheck, or celebrities that you hear blowing it all or suffering with depression or drug abuse.
Just sock it away. Pay off the house, invest. Money is now longer an issue but that often makes purpose in life, friends, family, drug abuse, etc an issue. You can now be very charitable in your life with friends, family, and large donations. Maybe enjoy things like a golf membership or a little more frequent travel.
I'm boring.

Buy a modest, but really nice home. Nothing crazy, 2300 square feet with a developed basement. Buy a really nice piece of property near the Bras D'Or lakes in Cape Breton, and build a really beautiful cottage. Travel. Enjoy my family with no need to work. How great would it be to spend an entire summer in Croatia on the coast? Sigh.

Pay off debt, go on a trip, do some home renos, then invest invest invest.
Alas does anyone who would spend their winnings logically ever win?

You're always welcome here in God's country.
Personally, I'd be more likely to buy/build near Inverness.
That said I know a few people with property by the Bras d'Or lakes, you can't go wrong.

I love Inverness but it's a little far from Sydney where my family on my wife side is from. Inverness is actually my favorite beach in Cape Breton, I actually joked about living in Margery but it's so far from everything.

I think most people who win do use it logically, but that’s not a good story so you never hear about them again. You only hear about the morons that blow it all and are bankrupt two years later.

the guys on my hockey team were chatting about this after a game recently.
what i would do depends a lot on the amount of the winnings
if it was a modest amount my wife and i wouldn't go crazy or anything - likely invest most of it and just do a few trips or something like that. maybe get her a new car if she wanted one.
if the amount of $ was nuts (where you could spend a bunch and still sock a lot away so you were set for life) one of the things we would do is get a big property where my wife and i could build our 'dream house' and the property would need to be big enough that i could also put my own hockey rink on it. center ice would have my mens team hockey logo in the ice. we'd have a home change room that would be decked out and each guy would have his own stall where he could leave his gear if he liked. i'd make sure that every league game my men's team played would be at 'my' rink. the change rooms would have a stocked beer fridge so both teams could enjoy some beverages before/after the game. i'd also pay a photographer to somehow get a 360 degree shot of inside the dome during a flames game and then get that printed onto a massive canvas that would hang from the ceiling inside the rink - so every time we took to the ice it would be like we were on the ice in the dome at a flames game - that would be awesome!
i'd also want to give a helping hand to some friends and family and likely setup some kind of bursary/scholarship fund.

I wouldn't give anything to the clerk. I would give to charities I support.
I would pay off my house and travel more often. I would probably quit my current job as it involves a lot of overtime and stress and get something low-key instead.

I only buy tickets to win the $1M side pot. It's all I need. I want to pay off the mortgage, get two new vehicles and do some maintenance around the house and pay off debts incurred from already occurred home maintenance. Then do a family trip to Disney. Whatever is left over is saved/invested for the future. Not having to pay a mortgage (or rent) is life changing enough for me.
I also have in-laws that I'm certain would expect their share of my winnings. They probably figure their share is 99% too. They get 0.00000000%. I won't help them out in anyway. My wife is on board with that.
As for giving/donations. We already give a fair amount to charities, we'd just be a bit more generous and could afford to do so going forward because we don't have mortgage payments.
If I won big $60M... I would do pretty much the same, just increase generosity to charities and help out some relatives and a friend or two, but I wouldn't go overboard on that. I'd also have more frequent trips to Vegas with a bigger bankroll.

I would give a good portion of the money to the Calgary Counselling Center to help those suffering from mental illness.
Give some money to Inn From The Cold to help homeless children and their families.
Help my friend bc-chris build his ultimate dream home and rink.
Some money for my niece and nephew so they could buy a house and some more to help with their retirement funds.
Buy me a winter home in Arizona.
Invest the rest.
