Hanifin is very good with his defensive stick checks. I’ve noticed lots of sneaky poke checks, and little sweeping motions to knock the puck off the stick. And I was also pleasantly surprised at a few offensives moves he made on the blue line last night. Maybe learning a thing or two from watching Gio walk the blue line.
