Default October 5, just two games.

The Friday OOT is a quiet one, but, there is an intra Pacific Division game and Centre Ice is still on a free preview. It makes for a good doubleheader.

This game was supposed to be on Sportsnet 360 and some digital on screen guides may still be showing that. The Braves-Dodgers baseball playoff game will be on instead.

McBackup looking pretty good in his first start as a Hurricane. 1-1 Tie almost the end of the first.

I am watching this game, and am wondering if the Hurricanes might actually get some goaltending this year. If they do, they should be in the mix for a wildcard.

They've got some very good looking young players. Aho looks like the real deal.

With the way the Flames goaltending has looked, one has to wonder if there’s a common denominator here...

This Blue Jackets powerplay is very Calgary-esque.

Ferland with his first point! An assist on a goal by Aho. 2-1 Carolina.

A huge save by McElhinney to preserve the lead.

...and another one.

Yeah, the Blue Jackets have definitely been taking notes on the Flames's powerplay.

Darling sucked as bad as Jonas Hiller last year. The only reason not to send him to the AHL is financial.

I think you missed the fact that he was back on the bottle last year, and has gone back on the wagon over the winter and lost 30 pounds this year, and has looked spectacular in the preseason.

Apples and oranges.

He might be a very good goalie this year.
