Less than 2 games in and Backstrom has 4 assists already. Nice start.

Ferland just had a good shift with Aho. Received a pass in the slot, and spun around towards the net taking the puck nicely through his legs for a shot while falling. Then gets up and scares the #### out of an Islander defenceman.
Still love Ferly.

4-3 Caps now. Last shot wins. If you have Caps and Pens in your pool you're loving this game so far.

Uh oh, Dougie with a defensive mistake and lets Filppula walk in all alone and score...

The Penguins PP is amazing too. It would be great if we setup something like that.
Malkin and Kessel on the half wall, both on their off wings. Letang at the point, Crosby and Hornqvist down low. So they have skill down low and two shooters on the half walls on their off wings. Why can't we do that?
Gio at the point. Johnny and Monahan down low working together. Neal on the right and try Stone on the left (his off wing). That gives us skills down low, a gun at the point and on each half wall.
I am not sure who else to put where. Maybe Tkachuk and Johnny down low and Monahan shooting from the half wall instead of Neil?
We will see, but I wouldn't mind seeing something like this some day.

Help, save, whatever.
|
I just started watching the Sabres vs. Bruins game in the 3rd period. Bruins look old and slow. They have been stuck in their own end for the entire period.
