Long story short.
A fine gal I work out with is in the running for Inked Magazine's Cover Girl, and needs YOUR vote. Now normally this would be an invitation to go look at a VERY good looking girl covered in tattoos (well that's part of it, but I'm not wanting to be offside with risque photos on here) but there's more.
Jolaine is a single mom in her 40's battling a pretty rare form of cancer, as well as an entirely unrelated and difficult to treat heart disorder.
She is undergoing expensive (and largely not covered by insurance) treatment for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN), which is a rare form of blood cancer. As a high level competitive athlete this has turned her life upside down, as she is no longer physically capable to push her body to extremes and compete in her age categories.
She ALSO has an aortic dissection, which is a weakening of the wall of your aorta. From what I can understand with high levels of physical exercise she runs the risk of straight up dropping dead mid workout if she pushes too hard. Really freaky stuff.
Add in a recent divorce, 2 kids, low income from being a fitness trainer, a house where the roof needs replacing, and she's in a situation where she's a little tight on funds. She's a bit of an introvert, so this is really outside her comfort zone to say the least. I'm a big cheerleader of hers, and do what I can to help her out so I'm 100% behind her dipping her toes into online modelling.

Thanks!! Every vote counts. She's in second and needs to get into first in order to move on, so I figured I would throw this out there. I don't think she will win the $25k overall prize (you never know I guess) but it would be cool to see her at least move on to the next round of voting.
