Default Grand theft auto in NE

Anyone in the skyview Redstone cornerstone area? It sounds like a gta game here. Helicopters and cop cars everywhere. What's up?

Just another night in Redstone from the sounds of it... I didn’t see anything over here, but I’ve had the windows closed and playing video games

I saw the title and immediately thought of cars and helicopters flying around chasing criminals, then snapped back to reality and thought "No, you overgrown child, he means a car was stolen in the NE".

Then I read the OP and suddenly feel vindicated.

Has there ever been a new area of the city with so many problems, shooting murders, stabbings and beatings in the last couple of years since it was built, did we move a city block from south Chicago up there?

Yeah. The SE.

McKenzie Town, Auburn Bay, Cranston, and Copperfield all rank higher for violent crimes.

None of which even remotely compare to south Chicago in any way

Unless you're talking about falconridge unsure what you're getting at. Crime in Skyview/Redstone/Cornerstone is pretty low.

Redstone had the gang-related double homicide in 2016. Drive by shootings in 2017. And last week the police killed a man in his Redstone home.

I don't know about the crime statistics, but it seems to have had a bit more high-profile ones than other areas in the last couple years. Especially for a new community.

The general crime map doesn't show it to be bad:
https://data.calgary.ca/Health-and-S...-Map/hhjd-wzc2

You could download the data and filter it to get some more details, since the map interface doesn't work.

In 2018 they had 722(of 981) categorized as "social disorder". Whatever that means. Someone not mowing their lawn?

It looks like it includes the Crowfoot commercial centre. Not sure though.

Social Disorder is a sort of low-level catch-all for a lot of situations in which police attend but no charges are (or can be due to lack of evidence) laid or offence has occurred. A party/noise complaint, someone sleeping in the lobby of a building, mutual/party fights, someone sitting in a park after dark "suspiciously", that sort of thing.

Do they still drop off discharged inmates from the jails at Crowfoot?
