"People are taking ####s on your scooters, how does that make you feel?"

Treat them likes cars/bikes. Shouldn't be a problem.

I'd be curious to see how these get charged though.

Helmet requirements are dumb but other than that just get them off the sidewalks and treat them like bikes.

I love the term "innovation in the regulatory space"

Officer, I wasn't speeding I was innovating in the regulatory space

They are charged fairly easily, but it’s actually become a pretty funny game for a lot of people. People will go out and collect as many “chargers” as they can, bring them back to their house to charge over night, and then drop them back off.

Apparently, because these scooters get left in such weird places (and the money is decent) it’s become almost like a Pokemon go obsession.

Great article in the Atlantic just a few days ago about "Bird Hunting" to charge units up at night: https://www.theatlantic.com/technolo...siness/560747/

Saw these tossed and abandoned all over San Diego for Comic Con.

People riding back and forth between traffic on the road and the sidewalk weaving in between people. Saw multiple people doing U-turns against traffic carrying bags of shopping and a few dude bros trying to pile on and ride together India train style.

We never saw anybody actually wear a helmet though.

My nine year old has one of these. Goes over 15 miles per hour and I think can run for 25 miles. It is really impressive. I have it throttled to under 7 miles per hour.

Bought a hoverboard this weekend. They're faster than I expected and harder to be awesome at. I thought I'd have it mastered in 10 minutes. Instead, I twisted the fata out of my ankle.

So mastering a motorized wheelchair leads to overconfidence on a hoverboard...
