Default Business/Taxes Question

Excuse my ignorance here but I currently have a sole proprietorship, had it for the past 10 years.
With my husband's new job, he will be a contractor, starting up as Incorporated. My husband's accountant has suggested that I put my sole proprietorship under the umbrella of the Incorporated. Is this a good idea? I don't want it to negatively effect me in any way.
Thanks for your advise!

I'll chime in, but unfortunately there isnt enough information in that post to give you a real answer.

If you want more you can PM me with more information and maybe I can help.
