From HFBoard oiler fan, in analyzing MacT's management:
O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
A few names already discussed on these boards. One I didn't notice who was a UFA was Chris Wagner. I think he would make for a fantastic 4th liner. Has decent wheels, and hits like a freight train. Modest offence, but not completely inept. I found him to be one of the most noticeable Ducks - seemed to stand out every time.
For those a bit unfamiliar:
If the Flames don't sign him (and I haven't heard even a whisper that they are looking at him) I hope he stays out in the east.

there are short term deals and long term deals on the table (for JVR)
Neal has a 5 year deal on the table from Vegas for probably $5 million per
Neal will get more on the open market.
Flames have kicked tires on both JVR and Neal (only team that Dreger name drops so take it FWIW)
