The Bruins had a good look at Iggy and signed Gionta. That should tell people here something. I don't think he has NHL skills any more.

I just dont know. I agree with the fact that where theres smoke theres likely fire and that if the entire league is passing on him theres likely a reason.

But I dont like blaming his skills. I think hes as skilled as he ever was, but theres a reason this is a young man's game.

He was invisible in the Olympics. Jay Pandolfo had to have a hand in this. Nothing more than a depth/leadership signing.

How can he be as skilled as he ever was? For one thing, he's much slower (and he was never considered fast). Getting to the right spot in time is the kickstarter for every other NHL skill. So if he can't do that, he's not skilled enough to play NHL hockey.
