Hotstove summary:
Max Pac - Habs are actively shopping him. In addition to picks they want a top young goal scorer back. Habs not likely to settle for less, and if the right package isn't there at the deadline, they may hold on until the ofseason. Elliott added that many feel that his struggles are related to his status as captain, and feeling a responsibility to face the media continually to answer for the team's struggles. Montreal doesn't want to sell low as there's a feeling that he could really take off if moved to a team where he didn't have that responsibility.
Hoffman - linked tothe Blues, who have lots of young forward they could send back. A deal between those teams is tied to Bouwmeester's return; if he's healthy and St. Louis' D corps is settled, the team will feel more comfortable making a move at forward
Forsberg - His injury is described by the team as "Not minor". Currently consulting with doctors and have put him on IR, so definitely out more than a game or two
Crawford - his injury is a bit of a mystery. It is known that he's out indefinitely, and those with knowledge of the situation say he's dealing with headaches, which suggests it might be concussion related
Ellis - close to returning to Nashville's lineup. He's been cleared by doctors, and it's now just finding a comfort level for him.
Seattle - Things taking shape. Leiweke close to putting together an executvie team, and they'll roll out plans for ticket launch once they get NHL approval
