Will Canada Post Deliver Today and Tomorrow (Dec 23, 2017)
Based on all their service guides the answer is no, but I seem to recall random packages coming in these days in the past (when they were weekend days).
Anyone have any inside knowledge on this (still waiting for one package that would be due to hit a delivery truck).
Failing that anyone know if you can intercept at the depot some how.

I don't know about delivery, but have you got a tracking number? If so, and you know the package is at a specific location they might be able to help you (if you beg and get the right person?)
It's a long and uninteresting story, but they were able to do this for us with a couple passports last year. It was a run around and clearly they went above and beyond for us, but it can be done.

I got a parcel delivered from Canada Post last Sunday. And normally I don't get any delivery at all - I have a superbox at the corner, but this time, the guy brought the parcel right to my door.

My mail carrier - who rocks - said that she was working every Saturday before Christmas.

They've generally worked Sundays but not Saturdays. My carrier (yesterday) said they'd be delivering parcels today instead of tomorrow (Sunday) as its Xmas eve, otherwise it was Sundays they've been working.

Any Posties on CP that can confirm/deny the holiday delivery hours/days?

Maybe it's just parcels and packages being delivered, not regular mail?

As far as I know, it’s up to whoever’s running each individual office if they want to do extra deliveries that are outside of normal working hours. We have been working Sundays during December up until now, delivering parcels only, just to make Mondays more bearable. I don’t work again until Wednesday, but I can’t speak for other offices.

Lots of USPS offices delivering packages tomorrow, including mine. Will be fun trying to get everything out with a limited workforce.
That's why I get paid the medium bucks though.

Had one show up later yesterday when it was scheduled for the 27th, so decent chance for deliveries today

Hey since we have some mail people here.
I bought something from japan and accidentally put my shipping country as Cameroon not Canada. My billing address says Canada and their confirmation email said shipping to Canada takes about a week, so I think they may have noticed my stupidity.
But assuming they didn’t notice the error, am I screwed?
I know it’s unlikely anyone here works for japan post, just curious how sorting works here for some reference.
