Default Leafs 2 Flames 1 (SO)

Leafs 2 Flames 1 (SO)

- Flames dominate but can't beat Andersson.
- Does this answer the critics? Calgary played a very structured game.

I feel quite certain Smith gets the start again tomorrow.

Although not mentioned in your writeup, the team didn't miss Jagr at all IMO.

Flames showed they can play well in what was a big game for them, and maybe less so for the Leafs. As you point out, its all about consistency. Every NHL team can play well.

Best effort so far this season. Hopefully they can dupilcate it with a win in Montreal.

Really liking the play of Jankowski. The kid handles the puck well and is not afraid of the tough stuff. Thank you for taking the chance Feaster.

I hate to agree but I do. (because I love Jagr) Hathaway looked more than capable enough on that line. Exciting to see it is in fact Bennett and Janko driving that line and not Jagr.

I don't know if I can agree about Jagr. He's the kind of player that can out smart a goalie even if they are having a stellar game.

I would have liked to see Jankowski in the shootout.

I hope to see Rittich in net tomorrow.

Your take on Tkachuk is spot on. I just finished reading through some comments on Reddit, seems r/hockey has made him the top post tonight. I needed to come back here because I was angry and wanted to punch all the Tkachuk haters that bs post is bringing out.

Maybe Jagr could open up space for Brouwer and Lazar?
