Default Rangers trade Adam Cracknell to the Habs for Peter Holland

https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/c...rs/c-293510628

Quote:
MONTREAL - The Canadiens announced on Thursday that the team has acquired forward Adam Cracknell from the New York Rangers in exchange for forward Peter Holland. Cracknell will report to the Laval Rocket.

The Prince Albert, SK native has spent the majority of the 2017-18 season in the American Hockey League with the Hartford Wolfpack, where he has registered two goals and three points and a minus-5 differential to go with six penalty minutes in 15 games played. The 32-year-old right winger has also played four games with the Rangers this season, but was held pointless in those outings.

For his part, Holland has picked up eight goals and 10 assists in 20 AHL games with the Rocket this season. He joined the Canadiens' organization in July as an unrestricted free agent.

If by dufus you mean living the life most of us could only dream of, then sure.

Cracknell really had a great season with the starts in 16-17. I was sad to see him go.

As someone that got to see him play about 50 times in the minors, I would have never thought he would play more than a handful of NHL games. I haven't done a real thorough check this year, but he may have been the last skater left in the NHL from the QC Flames years. McElhinney has stuck it out as well, but I think late last season he was the last skater.
