Default Best Cleaning Company In Calgary?

Hello CalgaryPuck!

I just bought a new townhouse but the previous owners have 3 cats and I am allergic to cats (not horribly but enough to make me miserable).

I would like to have the entire place professionally cleaned before I move in.

Do you have any recommendations for cleaning services? Experiences? Companies to avoid?

I've used Ram Cleaning to clean my basement after some renovations, and was very happy with the service.

I've used Mishka cleaning and I was happy when I bought a house. Charming east European accents too.

Had the same situation when we moved into our house. Used Chemdry for the carpets (which worked), and also had a company (forget who, but there are tons) clean the furnace/ducts. Couldn't tell there was a cat there afterwards.

All I can envision is a Legion of swarthy Babushkas being heavily judgmental about your living environment.

we use The Greener Cleaners. They are a local cleaning company that uses chemical free cleaning products. They are able to clean our whole house in 2hours with 2 cleaners. This includes floors, bathrooms, kitchen, oven cleaning (lifesaver), whatever you want them to clean, let them know, and they'll do it.

http://www.greenercleaners.ca/

Mention that you were referred by Dennis and you'll get $10 off.

What kind of magician can clean without chemicals? Harry Potter's Wand Washers?

WHAT IS NOT A CHEMICAL?
Clearly, everything made of matter is made up of chemicals, that means only things that are not made of matter are not chemicals. Examples include energy, light, heat, sound, gravity, magnetism, thoughts, and dreams.
I love to dream that my house is cleaning itself, chemical free.

What metrics would you like to apply when determining the best cleaning company?

If they are cleaning your whole house in 2 hours... whatever you are paying the. Is too much. Or you live in a one bedroom apartment.

Thorough, professional, and not obscenely expensive.

I don't understand what you mean?
They do a thorough job in 2 hours for a 2800 sqft 3 BR 2.5 bathroom house.

I'm not going to disclose how much I pay, but I think it's well worth it. I certainly could not do as much as they do in 2 hours.

At the risk of sounding shallow, they were all 20 something females in athletic attire who were not swarthy by any stretch.
