Exclamation [Video] Johnny Gaudreau - 2017 World Championships

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiHOCrQ81MM

Finally able to release this. It got copyright claimed and blocked automatically upon upload by the IIHF 2017 World Championships channel.

I appealed for fair use, and they had a month to respond and eventually denied my appeal. I could have escalated it and appealed again, but there's a copyright strike at stake.

So I just chopped up the specific minute long segments that were getting auto-blocked and after a lot of trial and error, this one seems to be ok.

Silly either way, as they should just do what the NHL does to all of my videos and copyright claim, take any monetization, and allow the videos to play anyways.

Johnny had a great tournament, as he always does.
In 8 games: 6 goals + 5 assists = 11 points.

How many times have we seen Gaudreau dominate the scoresheet playing the rightside on the PP and sometimes even as a right winger period, why Gulutzan doesn't try him there is a mystery only god could answer

I'm not harping on Johnny, but I don't see this from him anymore. like nothing in the sort, he made tons of nice moves in that tournament yet I haven't seen any of that from him here. Is he playing a different style? Is he on the right? Is it just having better linemates? Or is the system the team was using better suited for him?

Maybe it's just me, but Gaudreau has been by far the best skater on the Flames this season and it's not particularly close.

I don't disagree with you, but I'm saying those two johnny's are not the same person. I want to know if I'm gonna see this Johnny again and whats stopping him. Like, he rarely gets any breakaways anymore, and that was one of his best parts (take it I didn't watch too much a couple years ago)

I saw 2 breakaways in the last 3 games and I didn't see much of any of them

Gaudreau has been dominant for anyone except GG.

Not that he has played all that poorly but he is not being utilized to the full extent of his strengths.

Just imagine if he played on the big ice permanently?

He just doesn't have that kind of time and space in the NHL and we're missing out on some great highlights because of it.

Had someone asking me on YouTube to put together a Comeback Win video from last season.

By my count, there were just 5 (and most/all were "down by 1 in the 3rd" types) but I can throw that together fairly quickly.

Oct 18 - BUF
Nov 16 - ARZ
Feb 3 - NJ
Feb 21 - NSH
Mar 25 - STL

Amazing how good he is in front of the net on the pp. Lots of chances and goals came off him being near the net on the pp.

It's because he is playing in the best league in the world. Of course he can have crazy dangles and puck control against the likes of Italy and Germany. Even the good teams are half made up of KHL players. The NHL is the hardest league, of course Gaudreau isn't going to dominate it. Not even the greatest of all time Conor McDavid is dominating every game.

Gaudreau is the guy "Pinball Wizard" was written about.
