0 goals in his first 90-something games.
3 in his last five.
Funny how confidence works.

Wow. Darling just set up a beauty breakaway in OT while the Ducks were on a linechange.
No goal though, OT continues.

Miller won the Ducks this game. Carolina had so many chances to win.

5-0 Jets over Pittsburgh already in the 1st.
Wheeler just got the hatty, and his 3rd was ridiculous.

Are the Pens drunk? The turnovers before the third goal were ghastly.

Just waiting on textcritic to explain why Jets should be up 10-0.
What a period. Was not expecting that.

Jets definitely have some talented players. They need to play smart and disciplined to have success

Pens have had a lot of back to back games and they've been destroyed on the back end. This is a gimme game for Winnipeg wouldn't judge them on this game.

I don't know, or think , that says anythign about the Jets necessarily. If you count this as a win and project standings they certainly make the playoffs and maybe even home ice, but, I'm going to have to be shown a lot more than so far to be convinced. I'm not convinced POMO is a good coach, and, def want to see smarter and more sustained hockey over a longer stretch.
But, with a very heavy hedging, this def makes me a happy guy to see the team kick ass on TV for a change. And against the Pens... who we went toe to toe with and lost in 3 on 3 in Pitt a few days ago.

I don't think any game in the NHL is a 'gimme'. Calgary played the Wild on their 2nd of 2 and it didn't appear to be a gimme. This is still the defending back to back champs.. let's not write them off like garbage.
