Default Tattoos

Couldn't find the old thread on Tattoo's so I thought I'd start a new one. Anyways, I'm looking at getting a dog Portrait Tattoo of my dog on my forearm in hopes of hopefully one day working it into a half sleeve or a full sleeve.

Does anybody know a tattoo artist in Calgary that does excellent Portraits and animal portraits? I've been looking into Gypsy Rose as I've heard good things about them and looking at the gallery of each artist, the owner of Gypsy Rose seems to be a good bet.

thanks.

I suggest that you have someone proofread any writing you plan to have done on your "tattoos" first.

Give Saga Anderson a look. In my honest opinion, one of the best, if not the best tattoo artist in Calgary.

https://www.inkbysaga.com/

He's wait listing into Fall 2018 though.

I have a calf piece I'm getting him to work on next time I'm in town.

He is pricey though, but if you are getting a tattoo, don't cheap out. Get it done right, so you won't be disappointed after.

I know a guy who does great art, but in general you want to be super careful with a portrait. They can turn out pretty freaky and bizarre.

I have lots of ink covering me and none of it is in portrait form... that's a big no, way too much risk
