Nothing would make grin more than an ass eating thistles than to ruin the Oilers home opener.

Anyways, to discuss. The Flames better come out hungry and aggressive. A little piss and vinegar playing edmonton would be nice.

Even though I believe Jankowski will be back in the lineup on Saturday and that tomorrow is a one off born out of necessity, I'm not that upset with Glass & Hathaway in the lineup against Edmonton. The Oilers will have a few heavier bodies that like to mix it up and you're going to need a few guys in there to keep things a bit more honest. Plus Hathaway in the lineup for the first game of the season? May as well dress a horse shoe and put it on skates.

Man, we have had some frigin terrible season openers with the oilers. It would be a welcome change if this opener is different
