They lost me when I saw Arizona at 92 points.

You have to remember that the west has three teams this year that the rest of the teams will crush on a nightly basis.

The team points will be inflated because of the Canucks, Avs and Knights.

In the same breath the Flames only gain 3 points over their total of last year. So that argument doesn't really hold water

Except the Flames already crushed the Avs and Canucks last year. They gain some wins from the Knights and lose a game or two somewhere else. It's the increase of points in the middling teams added to the fact that the Yotes are going to be better. They made solid moves coupled with Keller stepping in.

They are banking on none of the Oilers, Leafs, or Jackets regressing? I wouldn't be surprised if all of those teams fall back a bit.

Swap Calgary and Anaheim
Swap Vancouver and Vegas
Swap San Jose and LA

Not sure about 104 points for Edmonton either. Not with that D. 97-100 more realistic. If the top 3 in the Pacific isn't Calgary, Anaheim and Edmonton I'll be amazed, but think it'll be tight with all 3 teams at or around 100 points

Other than that it's not bad. I'd think the order in the Atlantic is a little different too but I agree with them that it will be tight with most teams between 92 and 97 points in that division.

Swap the Jackets and Capitals as well
