Anyone watching. Last night sealed the deal for me. Suzie is amazing but not for INXS. Mig's kinda showtuney. Jordice has really struggled lately but her Heart Shaped Box rendition was one of the best performances this season. JD gives me the creeps. Marty blew me away last night with his own song. That song, Trees is ready for the radio right now.

Rockstar INXS has completely blown Idol shows out of the water. I'll watch this one, but can't be bothered to watch any Idol shows. Even my wife who watched Idol shows religiously now admits that the Idols suck compare to the Rock Star people.

JD will be the man leading INXS as far as Im concerned.
Jordiss should be out on her ass tonite...she is too bluesy for the band anyways.
Itll come down to a Mig vs JD finale.

Marty is good...but hes good in a punky/wavy type and certainly not an INXS style singer.
Suzie is just plain lucky shes still there...she will be the last woman standing..perhaps 3rd or 4th overall.

Mig has the ability to sing all styles...and he has the nice boy charisma...
JD can belt it out real weell...and has an INXS voice....and is the bad boy of the group...

Bad boy wins it all...and hes a Canadian.

Jordis has a great voice, but she's not right for the band and she will be done tonight.

I hate JD. There is something that I really don't like about the guy. For me, he comes across like he is just trying to hard to appear like a serious artist.

I kind of go back and forth with Marty. Some nights I like him and others, I don't.

Suzie is a great singer and performer, as is Mig. So i think it will come down to those two.

I agree 100%!

Even if JD doesnt end up winning, I'd probably still buy his CD if he ever released one. I think he is the best out of the group and he's a rockstar at heart.

plus they each sang an 'original' composition...marty's was fairly radio friendly modern rock, jd's was an inxs style conventional rocker, and IIRC the other 3 were sappy ballads

yep...Martys was the most radio friendly...in a pop kinda way. Sorta like Jethro Tulls bungle in the jungle...LOL...I think he called it Tree.
JDs was by far the closest thing to a INXS song...and Jordiss really blew both of her songs...especially Queens song AFTER she was hawing on about how JD blew the same tune earlier on.

This show is the epitome of fromage, but it's still kind of entertaining.

None of these guys have any 'cred' in my books because let's face it, it's still American Midol repackaged.

That skinny long haired character (don't know what his name is Billy maybe?) is just pathetic in yet he seems to be the most popular with the band from what I've seen. I hope that JD guy wins.

This is a tough call. I don't think a girl (aka Suzie) can make the band. JD doesn't click with the boys, Marty is pretty Seattle-grungy - but good, Jordis should have been axed a few weeks ago after she slaughtered Dream On (I still cringe thinking about that), and I always just figured Mig would take it cause he's an Aussie - and a talented singer.

These days, I'm not as sure as JD is making a really good case for himself. That original song he sang last night sounded soooo much like an INXS song. None of the other originals did at all.

I'm so confused, that I voted for Marty. He rocked it up pretty good last night.

If Jordis doesn't get the axe tonight I'll eat my shorts.

For what it's worth, I really liked Ty. He would have been a strange fit in that band, but his energy was awesome and had a great voice and personality. Too bad.

These guys are far from American Idol calibre; they're all accomplished artists and not some teenager plucked off the street in New York.

Have a look at the profiles here and you'll see the singers are in bands/were in bands that opened for groups like Nickelback or Anthrax, and some have even toured with Eric Clapton and Macy Gray.

As far as my favs....I kinda liked Ty when he was still on, it's a shame he was cut. JD takes it now though, IMO.

I still sometimes watch for a laugh. Don't know any of their names, but I think the skinny guy with dark hair, who butchered Smells Like Teen Spirit in the first show will win because he looks Australian.

I'm not saying they're all shooting up the charts, and I'm about to run out and buy all the CD's, but they're far from the comparison you're drawing. I don't like the music, but I can at least recognize their talent.

Token black guy? He and his band, Dakota Moon, signed with Elektra Records and had two Top 10 hits in the U.S., as well as countries all over the world. After leaving Dakota Moon, Ty produced and performed his solo project in all of L.A.'s hottest clubs. So Jordis got her comeuppance...she really looked disinterested last night and deserved the golden boot.
JD won the encore...but how in the hell do you win that and end up in the bottom 3? That was just a little strange. JDs song was a great INXS tune...far better than the new INXS tune sung by everyone last night.
JD rocked the house again and was by far the best in singing an INXS song....if he keeps this up he rolls to the win.
The fact Mig hasnt had any bottom 3 votes bothers me...he should have been in the bottom last night...I would think all of Australia is voting for Mig while the Candian vote is split between JD and Susie. I hope that doesnt end up biting JD in the arse.

yep Marty...but only because of the final 4 his style is less suited to the band than Suzie JD or Mig. The only thing that would keep him around is if for some reason the voting keeps him outta the bottom 3. That system may change next week though. It seems by comment that all will be singing INXS tunes from now on...wise choice I think.
Suzie has stemmed off elimination so many times becasue when she sings the INXS songs she actually sounds good. That wont last beyond the final 3 I dont think....Mig vs JD will be the final 2 I still believe.
