well, not terribly surprised.
Sharp made a personal decision to go back to Chicago... can't blame the guy - his career highlights were all with the Blackhawks...
And Chicago is my kinda town...

My guess is the Flames and others offered double that or more. But Hawks and Towes/Kane ahead up the reunion angle.

Obviously we would have had to offer more. But how do we not at least double that? What would it have taken for Sharp to pick Calgary > Chicago?
