Ernest Manning High School has been locked down, according to police.

The southwest Calgary high school on Springborough Boulevard has more than 1,600 students in Grades 10 to 12.

Weapons Complaint at Ernest Manning High School


At 11:55am, we were called to the school after the staff were told that a student had brought a gun to school. We took all precautions and the school was locked down while officers searched for the student.



He was located and taken into custody without incident and an airsoft gun was recovered on-scene.
