Default Banff/Canmore/Jasper Cabins

I am looking to take the family to this area in June, does anyone have any recommendations on where to stay? Any preferences? Pros and cons? Best bang for buck?

Thanks.

We stayed here:

A little out of Jasper, but a pretty good deal, and lots of space. Jasper will probably be the most affordable of the 3 places, if that is your criteria.

In June 2017? Or are you planning for next year?

You'll probably still be able to find something but popular, well reviewed accommodations will be booked far advance. You might get lucky with a cancellation or be able to be put on a cancellation list.

My suggestions is to start looking now and if you find something and arent sure, book it anyways as you might not find anything better and it might be gone later.

You can drive to Mt Engadine Lodge. It's on the Spray Lakes Road. It's worth the dough.

We've stayed there probably 6 times, but not in the last three years. Great experience in the winter-- the trapper's cabins feel just like that. Probably just as great in June.
