Default Frozen lakes within a few hours of Vancouver?

Hey team,

Looking for a skatable frozen lake within a few hours drive of the lower mainland. Was one up near Whistler last week but it's since melted. Looking to get on one for a quick film shoot. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You should be able to reach Coquihalla Lakes Lodge in a couple hours from Vancouver and those lakes should be frozen. I'm not sure if they're cleared of snow enough to tell they're lakes though...

Edit: I see you said skatable. I'd probably call the Lodge and see if they've got any spot cleared for skating.

Looking for something a little more remote where we could get some solo ice.

Should be a few lakes around Merritt and Kamloops.
