Can't wait to see what Ferland and Tkachuk look like in playoff mode.

Edmonton. I've never personally witnessed a Battle of Alberta playoff series. I want that to change.
And also to show that we're better.

Honestly?
At this point, I fear NO first round opponent.
Taking into account their recent play, and the fact that they play every other night (starting this Thursday against the Habs), I think they'll be readily conditioned for playoff hockey.
So long as the Flames continue to stick to their overall game-plan, continue to receive the goaltending they've been getting, and continue playing for each other (as they currently are), they match up well against anybody.
(Bring on the Oilers. Revenge is a dish best served playoffs.)

San Jose.
They are the heir apparent, and the Flames have unfinished business with the Sharks. A convincing victory in Round 1 against last year's WC champions and suddenly the Flames are a threat to go the distance.
Dispatch whoever from the Central Division in Round 2.
Anaheim in Round 3.
My dream scenario is for Anaheim to annihilate the Oilers in four straight games, and then for the Flames to exercise their Duck-demons in the WC finals. Another round of the Ferland and Bieksa show and a chance to make Kesler cry is just too delicious to turn down.

Oilers. I've been a Flames fan for so long and never have been able to watch a Battle of Alberta. Given how much I hate the Canucks and their fans... I can only imagine what a playoff series would do to my perception of Oiler fans.

Of the matchups that are possible, i'd definitely like to avoid Chicago, Anaheim and Edmonton.... Chicago + Anaheim are self explanatory, and Edmonton only because I don't think my heart can handle a BoA, I think we can beat them, but the thought of us losing a BoA playoff series would be too much to handle.
That leaves SJ + Minnesota... both are gonna be tough competition but I say bring it..

Of the 3 likeliest;
1. Oilers because that's too much fun
2. San Jose
3. Minnesota
(I would prefer NSH, ANA, LA, STL over both SJ and MIN)

Edmonton, We're a far different team then the one that disgracefully lost the season series to that team.
I think its a great motivation for the Flames to such their souls out, then ram their faces into the Toilet and give them them a atomic swirly. Of course before they could even touch McDavid he would willingly dive into the toilet.

Put me in the "anyone but Anaheim" camp
Flames seem to put up good fights against Chicago, especially when the Flames are playing well. Same goes for the Sharks and Wild, at least this year.

Edmonton. I really want to face them in the playoffs one way or another. Their schedule is too weak for them to miss but I think we can jump ahead and get home ice.
