Why is it always spelled Bryan Elliott with a "y"? Is this like a Tom Erixon thing?

During pregame, Gio was talking about how going to OT or SO was ok, because Detroit is an EC team, and they just need to get 2 points.

After their first period that's how they played.

No killer instinct. Almost cost them a point tonight. Not acceptable from here on out.

Wish I was that clever ... just an idiot spelling a guy's name wrong. Luckily once outed you're unlikely to do it again.

Sad too as he was a game star along with Mike Backlund who moved into a tie with Shawn Monahan for the goals lead.
