FWIW - Flames don't have a 3rd in '17 (Stone) and our 3rd in '18 is conditionally being sent to St. Louis.

There have to be conditions. I think a lot of teams would have offered more than a 3rd rounder.
He was pretty much the only piece I hoped we would add, but I thought the price would be too high.
Did he have a trade clause?
